ABSTRACT
Protein Energy Malnutrition (PEM) problem in children under five years old need to abtain urgent attention. Many factor can to cause PEM, it any one is not accurate early supplementation feeding practices. The study was aimed to know correlation between information sources and the accuracy of supplementation feeding practices in the District of Kulon Progo. The study was observasional with cross sectional design. There was 100 respondents. Data was collected by using questionnaires. Logistic Regretion test was used to analize statistical analysis with α = 0,05.
The result showed that the most respondents gift information about supplementation feeding practices from medic and accurate. Result of Logistic Regretion test is significant of information from family.
This study showed that the most respondent not accurate of supplementation feeding practices, it should be considered to provide breast feeding and nutritional education.
